Permacolor overlaminating films make great exhibit hall floor graphics

Retail marketers and display companies seeking a unique, innovative way to distinguish their product and reach out to customers can now step up to - as well as step on - floor graphics using two popular MACtac Permacolor overlaminating films.

Available photographic or graphic images can be transformed into durable floor displays of any shape or size by overlaminating them with PermaFlex Lustex IP 6000 15-mil or Lustex IP 6200 5-mil overlaminating films.

The Lustex overlaminating films were subjected to the American Society for Testing of Materials Standard Test Method for Static Coefficient of Friction, a measurement of skid resistance on floor surfaces. The overlaminating films met the established minimum requirements in both wet and dry testing by a major independent testing company.

Photographic, ink jet, electrostatic, lithographic and screen-printed images can be overlaminated with Lustex 5- and 15-mil. The optically clear, textured lustre finish of the overlaminating films eliminates glare and provides a pleasing viewing surface that resists smudging and abrasions.

Both the Lustex 5- and 15-mil can be used in indoor and outdoor applications and adhere uniformly onto surfaces to seal out dirt and moisture. They also provide protection from U.V. (ultra-violet) color fading. Lustex 5-mil is lighter and thinner than Lustex 15-mil, making it flexible enough to roll up for easy shipment.

MACtec is also a producer of self-adhesive vinyl digital imaging media. Electrostatic, thermal transfer and inkjet images can be printed on vinyl and overlaminated with one of the two Lustex films to produce eye-catching floor graphics.

Permacolor mounting and overlaminating products are available in standard rolls of 21- to 76-inch widths and custom sizes. And these self-adhesive products need just one pass through a cold roll laminator to mount or overlaminate images.
